Treat your book, e-book, audiobook, music, and/or video/film title to six weeks of Innovo’s premier publicity and marketing around the world! Using online print and broadcast media as the publicity venue for your campaign, your Innovo publicity team will target top media outlets and contacts using multiple marketing pitches or “angles” for you and your title.
A full six weeks of focused, personalized publicity to Christian and secular media using Innovo’s media contacts across the U.S., Canada, UK, and Australia with up to five other countries available by request for your specific global campaign).
Innovo will promote your book/title to Christian and secular media, including influential online bloggers and Web sites, print media such as magazine and newspapers, and broadcast media such as television and radio stations. The goal of the publicity campaign will be to promote both YOU and your title(s) using a variety of pitches or “angles.” This GLOBAL marketing/publicity package is also available as a Three-Month Campaign.
Specifically, your dedicated Innovo publicist will:
- Ask you an extensive series of questions to learn more about you, your title (book, e-book, audiobook, music, and/or film title), and your goals
- Serve as your one-stop, Innovo publicist contact for the duration of your campaign
- Review your title(s) and your responses to our publicity/marketing questionnaire
- Work closely with you to develop press-ready materials and multiple creative pitches or publicity “angles” that are easy for the media (i.e., editors, reporters, producers, and bloggers) to use to feature you and your book, e-book, audiobook, music, or video/film. These pitches/story angles will be augmented and adjusted based on feedback as the campaign progresses.
- Forward your book, e-book, audiobook, music, or video/film and press materials to interested media contacts, arrange all media interactions, such as interviews, and ensure high priority/time-sensitive media outlets receive your title and press materials in appropriate forms and time frames.*
- Reach out to an extensive list of important Christian and secular media contacts with whom Innovo has specific requirements for the method of submission, type of materials accepted, and the time frames preferred by these influential media contacts. Innovo has direct access to over a million Christian and secular media contacts in North America alone and can contact the specific media personnel by name and direct contact information (i.e., we don’t us blanket/generic e-mails).
- Provide frequent written updates outlining the publicity activities performed each week for your campaign, along with a cumulative list of media showing interest and plans for additional media contacts/follow-ups. We will collaborate with you during the campaign to ensure you are well informed every step of the way.
- Reach out to hundreds of Christian and secular and media contacts in the U.S., Canada, UK, and Australia with up to x other countries available by request for your specific global campaign, including a special focus on your local geographic area.
- Discuss options at the end of the campaign to continue or provide you with details of interested media for you to continue with additional publicity efforts.
*50 copies of your book are required for this campaign. If you used one of our publishing packages, we are happy to send the complimentary copies of your title, if any, directly to your Innovo publicist.
How many books will I sell with this publicity package?
No one can say for sure. As with any publicity service, there is no guarantee on sales. We do, however, guarantee media exposure and we will provide details about the activities undertaken to promote your title(s).
Should this be my only form of marketing?
We don’t think so. No single publicity package can guarantee book sales. We recommend this package be used along with other supporting marketing plans that include several publicity and marketing approaches.
What are my responsibilities during this process?
You must be available to your Innovo publicist by phone and/or e-mail at least weekly during the campaign. During the initial information gathering stage, more of your time is normally required. As the campaign gets underway, your publicist will be contacting the media and working on your behalf to coordinate media and interactions for you.
Couldn’t I just do this myself?
Yes, we think you could, but it would probably take a lot of time to identify the right media contacts and to learn their specialties and preferences. In addition, we know who to contact and how to contact them, which should help make a better first impression for you and your title(s). A key issue is the amount of time you can afford to devote to publicity efforts. In fact, this may be a deciding factor in selecting the right marketing/publicity package for you. If I live outside the U.S., can I still use Innovo’s publicity services?
Our global publicity services are targeted to media in the U.S., Canada, UK, or Australia (with the potential of adding other specific countries on request). If you are located elsewhere in the world, we can still work with you, but our campaign will still target media in these countries (depending on the services you selected). In addition, if you live outside the countries mentioned, we will focus more on print, radio, and Web media instead of broadcast/television, which may require your physical presence.
How do I contact my Innovo publicist?
You may contact your Innovo publicist at any time by phone or e-mail. Your Innovo publicist will begin your publicity campaign with a phone call (or Skype call) to discuss your campaign goals and to go over the campaign questionnaire we will provide. During the campaign, your publicist will send you regular e-mail updates, including information about the media who have been contacted, as well as those who have responded, and those who requested copies of your book/title(s) or other information such as sell sheets or press kits.
